Welcomes

Earlier this month we welcomed a number of casual workers, to Admissions & Welcome and Historic Character Teams, to support the busy summer ahead.

Farewells

After 30 years, Kerry Marson left the Museum at the end of June. Kerry will remain a friend of the Museum and will hopefully return as a volunteer in the future.

Toward the end of this month, we will sadly say farewell to two colleagues of the Museum, Emily Smith and Lewis Turner.

Lewis leaves us to further develop his skills in the events industry. Lewis joined the Museum as a casual before securing permanent employment as an Enterprise Team Member and most recently supported as a Supervisor within the Enterprise team.

Emily leaves us after securing the exciting position of Senior Digital Marketing Executive at London Transport Museum. Emily has been instrumental in our marketing and building our social media presence, particularly TikTok.

We wish all our colleagues the best in their future endeavors.

Sadly departed

Our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Keith Peckmore (Transport Team Volunteer from 2011 – 2023) who sadly passed away earlier this month. Keith enjoyed a long and distinguished career developing and building classic British sports cars for Kieft and Frisky. Keith loved volunteering within the Transport team at the Museum and mixing with colleagues and will be greatly missed by all.
