Concept:
A fun-family themed programme highlighting crime and punishment throughout history. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore different kinds of crime, learn about policing throughout history and engage with activities to further their learning.
- Theme 1 Crime – what crimes were prominent in times gone by?
- Theme 2 Policing – what kind of things were illegal in times gone by and how did the police approach criminality?
- Theme 3 Society – what makes people commit crime and is justice always served?
Visitors can look out for… Emma Sproson (Suffragist), PC Mobbs (Edwardian Bobby), Mabel Smith (Petty Thief) & Detective Constable Hurmson.
