It’s now three weeks since we closed the Museum and our thoughts continue to be with everyone at this difficult time; but especially those who have been affected directly by the virus, and their family and friends.
John and Kev (our duty managers) alongside Chris and Michelle (horse handlers) and Martyn (maintenance) continue to ensure the site and animals are being looked after and that essential works can take place. Blue skies but no visitors is definitely not the normal Easter holiday combination. And it’s not just us missing the Museum, one Facebook commentator has posted photos of their garden which they’ve decorated with photos of the Museum for their daughter’s 14th birthday as we’re her favourite place!
Members of the Programme, Research and Marketing teams who remain working have been busy producing History at Home content – the first of these videos was uploaded this week so remember to check our Twitter and Facebook page for updates.
