Meet the Volunteer – Sue

In the latest in our series of ‘Meet the Volunteer’ profiles we hear from Sue who is a volunteer in Retail and Admissions.

“I started volunteering for BCLM to gain confidence. I enjoy meeting people and visiting the museum.

I started volunteering just over a year ago (April 2018) as a Meet & Greet Volunteer.

I am situated at point of entry by the visitor welcome desk.

I welcome visitors to the museum at point of entry. I meet and greet and help with questions on arrival, issue maps, trails. As part of my role I help to manage the queues and guide people who have booked online.”
