From Monday 17 February, lane restrictions will be in place on Castle Hill for approximately six weeks as part of the Wednesbury to Brierley Hill Metro extension. Traffic will continue to flow downhill, but the casino side of the road will be closed for around four weeks, followed by a two-week closure on the zoo side, during which there will be no access from Castlegate Island onto Castle Hill. A signed diversion route will be in place.
