In advance of the changes in data law that come into play this Friday 25 May, we’ve updated our existing data protection policies and procedures and added some new ones.
These can be found in the Museum Documents section of the intranet and include:
- Data Protection Policy
- Privacy Policy
- Retention & Destruction of Records Policy
- Data Subject Request Procedure
- Personal Data Breach Procedure
Please familiarise yourself with these new policies and in particular, the procedures that accompany them.
An overview of the policies and procedures linked to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will be provided at the next staff and volunteer briefing on Monday 11 June at 9am in Hall 2.
