Programme concept:
- A fun-family themed programme highlighting the grim realities and unpleasantness of life in the past, along with strange, mysterious occurrences in the Black Country. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore some of the unpleasant occupations of the past, Edwardian plumbing or the lack of! Meet interesting characters and engage with activities to further their learning.
- What was a Night Soil Man? How did he complete his work? And who was the famous Hairy Kelly?
- How have people explained away strange sightings in the sky over time, and has this been influence by science fiction?
- What is distracting the pupil’s attention away from their work in St. James’s school?
