With the current news cycle and unrest across the country, we recognise that colleagues may be affected. We want to take a moment to remind everyone about the Museum’s wellbeing resources, as well as kindly asking that we all look out for each other as we would at any other time.
Resources include:
- A team of Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAs) to provide support to colleagues who are experiencing poor mental wellbeing or just need someone to talk to. You can find out more about who the Museum’s MHFAs are in this intranet article.
- The Perkbox benefits portal, which includes a wellness hub with resources including webinars, videos, blogs and music which promotes wellbeing, health and happiness.
- The Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), which is a free 24/7 confidential helpline with trained consultants to listen, advise, and support you with any worries. You can access EAP via Perkbox ‘Perks’ on the Perkbox app or by calling 0800 756 0861 and quoting ‘Perkbox’ and ‘Black Country Living Museum. If you would like to have access to Perkbox and/or would like to find more about it, please contact People & Culture by emailing [email protected].
